A Spanish company plans to make a space hotel in the next few years!

Barcelona based architect Xavier Claramunt is developing a space hotel in which the guest can pay 3 million euros, or $4.15 million, to spend three days in orbit 300 miles above the earth!

There is a mandatory 18-week training program on a Caribbean island to prepare guests for the trip into space, and the “hotel” will contain three bedrooms with pods launched from individual rocket missions.

Claramunt says his true dream is to colonize Mars, but since that isn’t exactly possible yet, he’s happy with a space hotel. The planned launch date for this hotel was the end of 2012, but who knows it it's going to happen.
