Maldek — An ancient planet in our Solar System.
Scientists believe that the "Asteroid Belt" between the planets Jupiter and Mars was once a planet named "Maldek" which due to some reason collided with another celestial body (another planet or moon of another planet) destroying completely itself and becoming what is now we call "Asteriod Belt" having numerous irregularly shaped bodies called asteroids or minor planets which are actually parts of the former destroyed planet "Maldek".
