NEWBORN BABIES AND BEERS

In order to protect babies from diseases, Malaysians bathe them in beer.

Protecting babies by bathing them in beer may sound like a myth or a cultural thing, but Malaysians have been doing it for a very solid reason. According to scientific research, beer can indeed protect babies from various diseases and can even help them achieve better skin.

According to doctors, it is believed that bathing a new born baby with Guinness Stout is a natural way for babies to gain better skin complexion and healthy skin. The practice said to not only give babies better complexion but regular bathing in beer can prevent harmful germs from entering the skin that causes acne.

Malaysians conduct this practice by gently placing their babies in a small tub with a little amount of Guinness Stout. The amount of Stout used to bathe the baby is small and is divided into seven small parts. A small portion of beer is added into equal portion of water and the baby is then washed with it. Some people even dip towels in the mixture and then wipe the new born with it. Beer is also said to help a new born a lot if he or she suffers from Jaundice.

Now that's a BEER BATH.
ORANGES ARE GREEN, NOT ORANGE WHEN GROWN IN A TROPICAL CLIMATE!

An orange is not a naturally occurring fruit , but rather a crossbreed of the tangerine and the pomelo, which is a fruit also known as the Chinese grapefruit. The first oranges were created in southeast Asia, where they would have been green, rather than orange.

The reason why oranges are green in a tropical climate is because the weather rarely gets cold. Because of the lack of cool weather, the chlorophyll remains in the skin of the orange, keeping it green. When an orange is exposed to cool weather while still on the branch it turns to orange. And orange that is left on the tree can change between green and orange several times depending on the weather.

This change of colors also means it’s impossible to tell if an orange is ripe. Fortunately for us, you don’t have to pay attention to if an orange is ripe. It remains ripe for a long time, even if left on the branch until the next season. The reason all of our oranges are orange in the store is because oranges are generally grown in subtropical areas, which means that they are exposed to cold weather. Oranges were able to give their name to the color because, most oranges are actually orange and not green.
WHEN FACEBOOK FRIENDS GET STABBED IN THE BACK- LITERALLY

In 70% of all homicides taken place, the victim already knows the murderer. 30% of the time they are friends on Facebook.

There is almost always a known animosity between the killer and in his victim in homicide cases. There is almost always some form of metaphorical stabbing in the back that amounts to insane amounts of bitterness and a need for vengeance that ultimately results in the stabbing turning rather literal. In 70% of homicides therefore, the victim knows the murderer. But it doesn’t stop there. In 30% of cases, they’re friends on Facebook.

Although this might come as an initial shock to some, in reality, most killers have quite dormant and regular personalities on paper, or at least on their Facebook profiles. In Israel for example, last year, two Arab teenagers from the village of Awarta broke into a family’s home in a nearby village called Itamar. Upon examination of their Facebook profiles one would have expected to come across remarks or statuses reeking with anti-Semitism. Instead, the posts on their walls and their daily status updates did not depict homicidal tendencies in the least.

They referred to women, and life, and finding the right woman, and well- more women. Similarly, a Tennessee couple (pictured) who “defriended” one Jenelle Potter on Facebook was murdered by her father and another man. Most recently Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian terrorist and confessed perpetrator of the 2011 attacks on Norway also used Facebook and Twitter quite frequently and upon examination of his accounts was found to have minimal murderous undertones. The level of exposure and communication and the decrease in anonymity and random attacks between Victims and their murderers therefore is attributable for the most part to social networking.
THE THINGS PEOPLE WOULD AND WOULDN'T RESORT TO FOR A MILLION DOLLARS

Even for a million dollars, 75% of people would not give away their wives for a single night.

People would do just about anything for a million dollars. Enter the lottery, sign up for a cheesy game show, sell their dignity, their personal belongings, but it seems the one thing they won’t give up (even if it is fair trade) are their spouses or significant others. About 75% of people wouldn’t give up their spouse for a night for a $1,000,000

Keeping in mind the concept of Swinging and how it has taken the world by storm it should come as no shock that there are as a matter of fact people who are more open to the idea of wife swapping or letting their partners indulge in sexual activities with other people for a small fee. One that involves six zeros would apparently be a no brainer. This probably makes up the remaining 25% consisting of liberals, bohemians and people who would gladly exchange their spouse for a refrigerator magnet.

Of course, those who still value their spouses more than they do other things in life or hail from more conventional backgrounds and religions may expel a loud gasp at the notion of giving up their loved ones for any amount of money at all. However, as non- monogamous behavior between partners in a committed relationship continues to grow where sexual activities with different partners are considered almost recreational or enjoyable to watch, the prospect of giving up your lover’s nubile body for a million dollars holds no shock value whatsoever. When it comes to moving away from the mere hypothetical idea of doing so and indulge in it realistically- a major 75% would violently shake their heads and refuse.
